Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Triax Technology, which operates MyKaab in Nigeria in partnership with AUATON. By creating an account you accept them.

What MyKaab is
MyKaab connects riders with independent drivers. We are a technology platform, not a transport company: drivers are not our employees, and the ride itself is a contract between the rider and the driver.
Who may use it
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must give accurate information and keep it current.
- One account per person. Do not let anyone else use yours.
- Drivers must hold a valid licence, a roadworthy vehicle and current insurance, and must pass our verification before taking trips.
Fares and payment
- A fare is estimated before the trip from distance, time and a base fare, and a minimum fare applies to short trips.
- The final fare may differ where the route changes, there are stops, or waiting time is incurred.
- A trip cancelled after it has begun is charged for the distance and time already travelled.
- Fares are paid from your MyKaab wallet or as otherwise agreed in the app.
- Drivers pay a platform subscription. Without it, a driver cannot take trips that day.
Your wallet
- Your wallet holds a balance for fares, subscriptions, insurance premiums and payouts.
- Drivers can withdraw an available balance to a bank account in their own name. A withdrawal cannot exceed what is available, and requires your password.
- We may hold a balance where there is a dispute, a chargeback, or a suspicion of fraud.
Insurance
Insurance bought through MyKaab is issued by the insurer, not by us. We pass your details to them and hold your certificate. Cover, claims and refusals are matters between you and the insurer, under their policy terms.
How you must behave
- Treat the other person in the car with respect.
- No illegal items, no weapons, no smoking without agreement.
- Do not damage a vehicle. You may be charged for cleaning or repair.
- Do not use MyKaab to commit an offence, or to harass anybody.
- Do not attempt to manipulate fares, ratings, referrals or standings.
Safety features
Either person may record audio during a trip; the other is told the moment it starts. Trip sharing shows a link-holder the vehicle and its position. These exist for safety and misusing them is a breach of these terms.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where somebody’s safety requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why.
What we are not responsible for
We take care to verify drivers and vehicles, but we do not control how a driver drives or how a rider behaves. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of another user, for a delay or cancellation, or for a loss that was not a foreseeable result of something we did wrong. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may change these terms; we will update the date above and tell you in the app where the change is significant. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
